Custom beam bench to suit any landscape or interior, made from our incredible Opepe, reclaimed grain wharf timbers.

A beam seat is a perfect spot to relax in the garden, catch up with friends, or enjoy being outside. Interior beam seats are a clever way to maximise seating in minimal space—perfect for smaller rooms or creative layouts.

We make our beam seats from recycled sea defence timbers, salvaged from a Norfolk Grain Wharf. They’re crafted to last another hundred years, to be enjoyed for generations. In fabulous sea worn condition and colour from decades of grain ships docking at the wharf.

The timber can be left as is showing off its natural beauty and unique story or given a range of treatments, Shou Sugi Ban charred finish, stained or oiled finish. 
Huge presence for landscapes, seating, follies, obelisks or whatever. The Opepe is an immensely strong timber, it’s untreated and safe to use in bio sensitive locations, requiring little maintenance minimizing long term disturbance.
