Using comb paint techniques to replicate fine wood grain has been practised for centuries, particularly during the Georgian and Victorian periods. The technique became very popular as a decoration in the Boatman’s Cabins on the working canal boats of the early 20th Century.

Comb sizes length 9cm, 3 x 2.5cm, 3 x 5cm, 3 x 7.5cm, 3 x 10cm.
