Bag Radio by Daniel Weil 1981

£150.00

Daniel Weil's "Bag" radio freed the inner parts of a radio by housing them in a clear plastic bag decorated with brightly coloured graphics. The radio components become part of the decoration, a result which subverts the 1980s concept of the rectangular black box audio equipment.

“Bag Radio” by Daniel Weil, designed for Parenthesis in 1981 and made by Apex, Tokyo, 1983

In good vintage condition, still working.
