We make our side tables from recycled sea defence timbers, salvaged from a Norfolk Grain Wharf. They’re crafted to last another hundred years, to be enjoyed for generations. In fabulous sea worn condition and colour from decades of grain ships docking at the wharf.
The timber can be left weathered, showing off its natural beauty and unique story or given a range of treatments, Shou Sugi Ban charred finish, stained or oiled finish. Huge presence for interiors, landscapes, seating, follies, obelisks or whatever. The Opepe is an immensely strong timber, it’s untreated and safe to use in bio sensitive locations, requiring little maintenance minimizing long term disturbance.
