Red Corn Poppy, American Legion Poppy and Flanders Poppy, each name refers to the same flower. The Red Poppy is native to southern Europe and has been associated with ploughed fields for many centuries. The name ‘Flanders Poppy’ refers to the aftermath of that terrible WWI battle on Flanders Field where these poppies grew into abundance.
